🧠 TL;DR:
Unified Downloader is a GUI-based batch downloading tool for file-sharing platforms like GigaFile, GoFile, Buzzheavier, and Pixeldrain. Powered by the built-in aria2 engine, it offers high-speed downloads and smart queue management in one simple app.

Recently, file-sharing platforms like GigaFile have become incredibly popular across various web communities. It's easy to see why—GigaFile allows anyone to upload and share massive files (up to 300GB!) completely for free, without even needing to sign up or log in.

However, if you've ever had to download multiple files via GigaFile, you probably know the struggle. The native web interface lacks full multi-language support, download speeds can fluctuate wildly, and you are forced to keep your browser window open until the download finishes. It gets pretty exhausting when you have a long list of links to process.

To solve this, I built a custom batch downloader. This app embeds the powerful command-line download engine, aria2, into a clean and intuitive GUI. Now, you can handle all your messy download links effortlessly with just a few clicks!

🛠️ How to Use & Options

• Adding URLs: Simply copy your download link, paste it into the URL bar, and hit the "Add to Queue" button.
• Smart Clipboard Detection: If you enable the "Auto-add Clipboard Links" option, the app will automatically catch valid URLs you copy and queue them up instantly.
• Engine Settings (aria2): You can tweak the "Connections" and "Splits" values to maximize your download speed (the default value of 8 works great for most users).
• Post-Download Actions: Don't wait around for large downloads to finish! Set the app to automatically shut down or put your PC to sleep once all tasks are complete.

• Windows Defender / Antivirus Alert (False Positive): Because this application is compiled into a standalone .exe using Python packaging tools, Windows Defender or other antivirus software might flag it as a threat (such as a Trojan or Malware). This is a well-known false positive. The program is 100% clean and safe. You can safely bypass the smart-screen warning or add the app to your antivirus exclusion list.
