[Offline Download] to download torrents

[Offline Download(百度网盘)] of Baidu NetDisk and 6pan(6盘) Cloud is a function to download torrent (or magnet link) files. Not all torrent files you are sharing on the Internet can be downloaded, but you can safely download torrent files using [Offline Download].

Baidu [Offline Download] finds files by comparing hash values. So where does Baidu find the files? It is searched directly from numerous files stored on the Baidu NetDisk server. Are there any files on Baidu NetDisk that occupy 80% of China's private cloud services (about 100 million users)?

With the recent crackdown on copyrights in China, Baidu [Offline Download] is not as perfect as it used to be. In my opinion, there is no file on the Baidu server (there is no file with a matching hash value), so it is correct not to find it because of copyright.

So it is difficult to download the latest movies with Baidu offline download. However, if you want to download a torrent file without a seed (such as an old movie), there is no one who has only Baidu. If you are lucky, you will find what you want.

6pan's [Offline Download] works similarly to Baidu. However, 6pan is a free unlimited cloud service recently launched(It's free now, but it's going to be charged). So the number of files stored on the 6pan server is not as large as Baidu. However, 6pan downloads torrent files that cannot be found by comparing the hash value, but 6pan server downloads them directly(Baidu does not). In other words, 6pan is running uTorrent on behalf of the user(in this case, wait 2 or 3days to complete the download). So, 6pan [Offline Download] has a higher probability of downloading the latest torrent with a lot of seeds than Baidu.

I recommend using Baidu for old torrents without seeds and 6pan for torrents with many seeds.

Advantages of [Offline Download]

The four files that failed to complete offline download(6pan) in the video were eventually completed two days later.

• You can download files without seeds.

• You can safely download it without worrying about malware.

• Save my computer resources.

• Save electricity bills.

Create Baidu and 6pan accounts

There are currently two ways to create a Baidu NetDisk account. One is 「CREATING A BAIDU NETDISK ACCOUNT VIA THE ‘BAIDU AI CLOUD’ HOMEPAGE」(In the past, it was possible to use a virtual phone number, but it doesn't seem to be the case recently). The other is to create a Baidu account using the ‘Small degree speaker(小度音箱) app (go to the link and see the second page, you can use a virtual phone number. This method is simpler than the previous method.)’. When creating a Baidu account, a virtual phone number such as TextNow may or may not succeed. If possible, use your own mobile phone number. That way, you can reduce the risk of losing your account.

6pan can create an account with a virtual phone number and a mobile phone number. The account creation is simply completed by mobile phone authentication, and the login is done by 'Login with Mobie'. For reference, 6pan is scheduled to be charged in the future, and payments for Visa and Mastercard are available, and the price is cheaper than $15 a year. It is currently in a free beta service. The 6pan cloud has unlimited storage space.

The final task is to download from Baidu or 6pan

The problem is that Baidu and 6pan's [Offline Download] download the completed file to my computer. 6pan can use a download manager such as IDM, or a Windows client(x64, beta).

Free users of Baidu NetDisk have a download speed limit. The way to crack this is to use the chrome extensions Tampermonkey and the greasy fork user script. For more information, you can refer to 「바이두 웹페이지 직접 다운로드 스크립트(Korean)」. The English version of this will be posted later.

Offline download (Remote upload) is also available on TeraBox(Dubox), a 1TB free cloud service provided by Baidu's subsidiary.
